Telugu Cinema News: The Kannada film Kantara stars Rishabh Shetty and Saptami Goud in the lead roles. The movie was written and directed by the actor Rishabh Shetty and is produced under the KGF movie makers’ Hombale films. 

The Movie Maker has released this movie without any expectations in the Kannada language. But after the movie got released, the movie was showered with love by the audience and received huge success at the box office with collections. The movie was later released in other languages like Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Not only did it set a new record in the industry, but have already crossed a hundred crores in the collection at the box office.

Controversies of the movie in Kerala

The climax song Varaha Roopam Daiva Varishtam has gained a lot of attached for portraying the ancient traditions of Indian culture beautifully. But the song has become a controversy recently.

The Malayalam-based band Thykkudam Bridge has accused the filmmakers of copying the tune and the lyrics from them. So, they are protesting that the song should be removed from the film and should not be played in the theatres. 

The Kerala Kozhikode court has issued an order to the producers of the film that the song should not be played in any theatres in Kerala. In this context, the audience is commenting that the climax scene is the most crucial part of the film and it would be difficult for the film to continue in the theatres if the song would be removed.
